Claus Potthoff @ Galerie Makowski | my first solo exhibition in Paris …

Nearby ten years ago I started this kind of architecture photography in Paris and it’s coming back to the place where it began!

From April 5th to April 19th some pictures of my project “l’architecture en cinémascope” are on display at Galerie Makowski in Paris. The opening of the exhibition is on Saturday at 4:00pm.

For the first half of 2024, this is my new photographic project. Back to photography without lenses, with a depth of field from zero to infinity, but without the usual sharpness of a lens and with mostly very long exposure times. Certainly, a challenging and exciting experience beyond our perfect world of digital photography.

The first results will then also be online here at Spring 2025.
